Last weekend was spent with family to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my grandparents! What a tribute to two people who have earned it!
My grandparents are:
1) A beautiful couple! Their pictures throughout the years look like magazine advertisements!
2) In love! Their smooching annoyed their children, but was an important part of the family's security and happiness at home.
3) Gourmet Chefs! There is always something unique and delicious on the table at their house to this day.
4) Family-oriented! Family dinners, vacations and togetherness were important as they raised their children and consequently the entire family is still close, even though we number over 30.
My grandparents are a wonderful example of a loving, successful marriage and family life. They have created a legacy for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
I consider myself quite lucky to have great examples of how marriage and family life should be!

Have we ever found out what was so dang funny that day when they got off the airplane for their trip to Acapulco??? We need to ask!
